Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Alpha Nation collects and how we use it. It covers our website at playalphanation.com and our iOS and Android apps. By using Alpha Nation you accept the practices described here. We may update this policy; changes are posted on this page and apply going forward, not retroactively.

Information We Collect

When you register we collect your email address, a commander name, and a password. Passwords are stored only as an encrypted hash — we cannot read them.

As you play we store your game progress and actions, and any messages or clan posts you write. Game administrators can read messages and posts for moderation purposes.

We automatically record the IP address you last connected from, and basic device information such as your platform and app version. If you turn on notifications, we store a token that identifies your device.

Our apps record which screens you visit and send us a diagnostic report if the app crashes. Your account identity is not attached to either.

We never ask for your real name, postal address, phone number, or payment details.

Advertising

We show ads through Google — AdMob in our apps and AdSense on our website — to keep the game free.

Google may use cookies (on the website) and your device's advertising identifier (in the apps) to serve ads, including ads based on your activity on other sites and apps. In our apps, if you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we ask for your consent first. On our website we do not currently show a consent banner, so if you want to block advertising cookies please use your browser's cookie settings.

You can control ad personalisation at Google Ads Settings, or in your device settings — on iOS under Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising, on Android under Settings → Privacy → Ads.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to keep you signed in, and stores a few interface preferences in your browser. Google's advertising cookies are described above. Our apps do not use cookies.

Who We Share Information With

• Google, as described under Advertising, and for app analytics and crash reporting.
• Notification services (Google, Apple, or your browser's provider) to deliver notifications you have enabled.
• Other players see your commander name, country name, and public game activity such as rankings and battle records. Your email address is never shown to other players.
• Authorities or others where the law requires it, or where necessary to investigate abuse.

We do not sell your information.

Your Choices

Email support@playalphanation.com to correct your account information or delete your account. We will respond within 30 days.

Some information may remain after deletion where it forms part of another player's game history — messages you sent to other players, and battle records involving them.

You can turn notifications off in your account settings or your device settings.

Children

Alpha Nation is intended for players aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has registered, contact us and we will remove the account.

Security

Passwords are hashed and cannot be recovered or read by us. Sign-in cookies cannot be read by scripts in your browser and are sent over HTTPS. Only administrator accounts can access player data.

No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
